Porter Creek is a "Top 25"!

Porter Creek is now one of the 25 best wineries in Napa and Sonoma to visit, according to San Francisco Chronicle's Esther Mobley.

Mobley's list is highly selective; fewer than 3% of Napa and Sonoma tasting rooms make the cut. The endorsement virtually guarantees more people falling in love with bucolic and authentic Porter Creek.

She describes Porter Creek as "a relaxed, family-run winery with homespun charm in the Russian River Valley." Indeed, Porter Creek has been featured in travel magazines as a "must-visit" destination.

Tasting room visitors will also discover that Porter Creek is one of the "OG"s of Russian River, established before the Russia River Valley AVA.

The winery is located near Rochioli and Williams Selyem in the "Middle Reach." It's one of few historic wineries that is still family-owned.

Proprietor Alex Davis farms bio-dynamically and visitors will see fauna aplenty—free-range chickens, bees, a cow and even alpaca.

The point comes across that Alex Davis is a classic vigneron who lives on the property and manages everything in perfect detail.

The wines deliver on this "farm to table" essence, being low-intervention, terroir-driven expressions, which bring back customers vintage after vintage.

So when people come to you asking for Porter Creek wines, here's some options you could offer:
