Giorgio Primo represents the best of Motta and his estate. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with Petit Verdot, the wine shows potent and penetrating fruit, with silky tannins and energy, tension and drive.

Vineyard: Estate vineyard; 315-460m elevation; soils of clay, schist, calcareous marl, and yellow & grey marl (galestro)

Farming: Organic

Vinification: Hand sorted and gravity fed into temperature controlled fermentation vessels. Native yeasts yield spontaneous fermentation.

Aging: 80% new French oak for 18 months
