In the heart of Serralunga d’Alba, Azelia’s Margheria plot rises more than 100m within its small diameter. The wine is intense and mineral-driven with earthy and salty character.

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo

Vineyard: Margheria; 250-360m elevation; S, SW exposure; clayey with tufaceous marls; average vine age 60 years; 1.9 ha

Farming: Organic

Vinification: Hand-picked, fermented in vertical stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, macerated with submerged cap for 55/60 days, racked by gravity, no fining or filtering

Aging: 30 months in large oak casks
