All Guts. And Glory!

Imagine buying an idle vineyard in the heart of Tuscany and pouring your heart, soul and all your money to replant it.

Then practically overnight, your wine is hailed as one of the best in all of Italy.

If this were you, would you rip out the vines and start all over?

You would if you were Giampaolo Motta, the bold, uncompromising and phenomenally talented founder of La Massa Toscana.

Now, after replanting his Conca d'Oro vineyard a second time, and reaching the top again, La Massa is becoming a must-have brand.

This is not just a question of ratings, which are consistently among the top.

And it's not just a question of marquee placements, such as at George Cinq (3 Star Michelin) and other great Parisian restaurants.

More than points and placements, La Massa's got star powerthat comes with big, bold moves and repeated success at the highest levels. Everyone wants to be in on the next big thing, and in Super Tuscans, La Massa is it.

Some people recognized Motta's star power early on. A decade after he bought La Massa in 1991, Decanter was already grouping La Massa with Fontodi and Rampolla as a "blue ribbon estate" in Chianti's Classico's Conca d'Oro. James Suckling declared La Massa Giorgio Primo one of Italy's top wines".

If that weren't bold enough, Motta hired the architect who designed Pétrus and Mouton to renovate the inside of his winery into a state-of-the-art facility with dazzling function and form.

The facility is three floors -- two underground -- for optimal gravitational flow.

After harvest, grapes roll into the winery where they're gently placed into underground tanks with narrow openings, which minimizes oxidation and allows for longer cuvaison.

The tanks are raised up off the ground so the team can easily see what's happening and control more precisely.

And the design recalls Motta's passion for Ferraris. Such as: 12 stainless gravity tanks lined up like V-12 cylinders. Checkered flooring to signify winning. Precise and clean design that is the hallmark of luxury brands.

No wonder everyone wants to visit. And VIPs may even be treated to a drive in a Ferrari!

Undeniably unique and exciting, La Massa stands out in the crowded landscape of Tuscan reds -- or big reds anywhere in the world for that matter!

When I mentioned that La Massa is at a tipping point, it's because the wines are still a fantastic value - easily 30% less than famous neighbors.

But that's probably not for long - Instagram "Likes" have doubled this year. A new web site is coming soon. La Massa is set to win.

So you could wait to pick up some La Massa.

But why risk having your customers buy it from someone else?
