Reviews
• JamesSuckling.com: 90 The fruit is at the drier end of the spectrum on the nose with cedar and walnuts taking the main role; some peppermint and dried-blueberry character prevails, though. The medium-bodied palate mainly features the drying tannins, but there are some attractive berries beneath. Tannic. Drink from 2023.
• Decanter: 90 Wines from Roero deserve to be better known, as they often offer very good value Nebbiolo in a friendly, more accessible style. This one has typical soft red fruit aromas – like freshly picked strawberries warmed in the sun. These continue on the round, smooth and medium-bodied palate, joined by fine, silty tannins to produce a soft, seductive style. A bright burst of acidity at the end adds freshness.
