Reviews
• Robert Parker: 93 93+ The 2015 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard from Deovlet hails from the wonderful old 1971 plantings of Wente selection Chardonnay which endow the wine with the most depth and dimension of any in the range, but also may account for why it's the most youthfully tight-knit. It offers up aromas of honeyed apples, wheat toast and iodine, followed by a medium-bodied, saline and tensile palate, with lovely depth and purity and a long, acid-driven finish. I'd be inclined to give this several years in the cellar before approaching it.
• Vinous / Antonio Galloni: 92 The 2015 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is creamy, voluptuous and exquisitely layered. The ripeness of the year comes through in the wine's mid-palate generosity and flavor profile. Tangerine, apricot pit and dried flowers are all pushed forward. This is the ripest and most overt of Deovlet's Chardonnays.
