We come to this business from a point of empathy - we've been there before. Gregory’s experience buying for fine restaurants and retailers and as an account executive selling to establishments of the same caliber made him realize what buyers need.
In fact, each member of our team has been in the shoes of our customers - we know what it's like to curate great restaurant and retail programs, balance inventory and pricing, train the front line, get just-in-time deliveries, and handle accounting and logistics seamlessly. By importing and distributing our entire selection, we offer superior value in each of our wines, transparent accountability and excellent service.
Prior to founding Gregory Condes Wines in 2011, Condes had the honor of serving as wine director of Restaurant Gordon Ramsey in New York, founding sommelier of Alex Restaurant at the Wynn Las Vegas, sommelier at Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco, sales associate at K&L Wine Merchants, and account executive at Vinity Wine Company. Condes sat for the MS three times, passing the service and theory sections, before moving on to other pursuits in 2004.
